Edward Clug – QUATRO

A wonderful snippet of the ballet QUATRO staged and premiered by Romanian choreographer Edward Clug and representing big city life with its agitated rhythm, its unpredictabilities, its conflicts. The music, 4 Reasons (here: Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 2: II.) by Slovenian composer Milko Lazar,  written especially for this piece of work, is played live on stage using the spare instrumentation of one piano and one cello. The dancers are Denis Matvienko and Leonid Sarafanov.
